The second annual Andover Farmers’ Market wrapped up yet another successful season Saturday October 11th.
The second season proved more popular than the first with more vendors, activities, and more patrons. The Farmers’ Market has become a community gathering place to purchase freshly and locally produced goods as well as a place for meeting and gathering with friends and neighbors.
The market had many new features including a season kick off event which featured local wines and foods, and local entertainment. Thanks to our many great community sponsors who made this event possible and sponsored several new additions to the market this year. The Marketer a weekly farmers’ market newsletter featuring articles about sustainable living, going green, eating local, and many fabulous recipes debuted this season as did “Fun in The Barn’, family crafts.
Due to its immense popularity the Andover Farmers' Market was even featured on Fox 25 News morning show entitled Zip Trips!A great big thanks to all our sponsors, vendors, and volunteers. We look forward to seeing you next season!!!
