Education
Education is one of the driving components of the Andover Historical Society’s mission. While many consider education to end after the school years, educational experiences can occur throughout a life time in many settings. The education department of the Andover Historical Society offers numerous hands-on experiences and exciting educational opportunities for students, youth groups and organizations, adults and adult groups, as well as families.
The Andover Historical Society offers a variety of programs for traditional school groups, home school groups, scouting groups, and other youth groups, including a selection of regularly offered hands-on workshops. See our brochures and flyers for details:

Holiday Events
In 2008, the Andover Historical Society participated in Holiday Happenings with the Blanchard House decorated for the Holiday season, taking inspiration from Victorian-era objects in the collection. There was also a special Victorian Dessert Tasting and special themed teas throughout the month of December. These holiday traditions continued in 2009 and 2010 with all-new programs, exhibits and special events. With over 1,000 visitors each year, the Historical Society looks forward to bringing back another month of fantastically decorated Christmas Trees in December 2011.
