We are entering the third week of the Andover Farmers’ Market and there is much more to come. Make sure to stop by this Saturday and visit your favorite vendors Rain or Shine!
With plenty of family friendly activities, new and returning vendors, and a free raffle you are sure to have a good time. This week’s Free Raffle item is a bunch of Swiss Chard donated by Joseph’s Garden. Sign-up to win at the Andover Historical Society tent.
This week Chris Nassise of The Green Woodshop will be demonstrating furniture making in the Andover Historical Society woodshop. Stop in to say hello and watch as this skillful craftsman demonstrate his trade.
Leyla Schimmel and the Pumpkins and Poultry 4-H group will be bringing special visitors to the market including some friendly chickens and goats. This group promotes chemical and cruelty free farming. These 4-H kids help plant and harvest the food they eat and know that food doesn’t just come from a box or a can. In a world over-abundant with processed food it’s important to support the local farmer and buy organic produce.

Silwia Lepicki, the Farmers’ Market intern, has prepared a special craft in honor of our special furry and feathery visitors called “Chicken or the Egg?”. Family’s and children are welcome to stop in the barn and check out this unique and fun craft. Also, visit the Andover High School students Facepainting on the Porch.
