Come to the Farmers’ Market!

It’s Andover Day!  Main Street is going to be hustling and bustling with people coming to celebrate at the town festival.  And the Farmers’ Market will be adding to the festivities.

The Black Dog Howl Band will be performing in the barn from 12:30-3:30

Dave Meldrum will be demonstrating beekeeping on the lawn of the Andover Historical Society.

And if you want to learn about the History of Andover try the Andover Historical Society’s History Hunt letterboxing activity from 12-4 as part of the Trails and Sails: TWO WEEKENDS OF WALKS AND WATER.  Stop by the AHS tent or reception desk to pick up a guidebook that will lead you to the many historic site right in downtown Andover.

Farmers’ Market Extended to October 17th!

Due to demand by our vendors and visitors the Andover Farmers’ Market has been extended one week to October 17th. The 17th is a day to be in downtown Andover. Andover Day celebrates the grand reopening of Main St wcamera 7-17-07 022 2ith concerts, sidewalk sales, and food. Why not stop by  the farmers’ market for one more chance to enjoy the season’s bounty and all your favorite vendors? The market opens early on this special occasion running from 10:30-3:30. Don’t miss it!!

This week, Andover Day on Saturday, October 3rd is the big news and we hope you’ll join us! After many months of renovations and improvements, Main Street will be officially reopened with a day-long celebration of music, food, and of course, community spirit! Be sure to check out the Historical Society’s Main Street exhibit as part of the activities that day.  You can learn more about Andover Day at the ABCA website. Come join the celebration!

Please drop off your home-baked pie at the TD Banknorth Fountain between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Please wrap and label pie with name and phone number. Prizes will be awarded for1st, 2nd, and 3rd  place.

Celebrate Andover

Join us as we celebrate downtown Andover’s make-over at ANDOVER DAY, Saturday, October 3rd, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Main Street will be closed to automobile traffic for an old fashioned street fair.  Live music by radio station 92.5 The River will provide lively backdrop to sidewalk sales, Know Your Town Fair, a fashion show, games, rides, surprises, good food, and much more.  Look for the Andover Historical Society’s tent and a special Andover Day “Word Cloud” design exhibit created by members and friends of the Historical Society.
