“History” doesn’t always mean “long, long ago”

February 12th, 2009 by Elaine Clements

Regular Andover Townsman readers already know about Bill Dalton’s regular column. Bill has been writing about Andover history since the 1980s when he wrote a column for the Lawrence Eagle Tribune. Bill’s current column for the Andover Townsman is, in his words, “nostalgic, casual, or whimsical.” Today’s column is about the Indian Ridge School and is a nice companion to the Ken Seifert’s column on his years as Andover School Superintendent. You can read both columns at www.andovertownsman.com to learn a little “nearby” history of Andover.
