The Andover Historical Society is pleased to invite you to join us for tea! What would happen if suddenly your parents, friends, and neighbors lost their jobs and money was hard to come by? Come learn how Kit Kittredge and her family made do during the Great Depression of the 1930s. Despite hardships Kit was a happy, “clever, resourceful girl who helped her family”. Get ready to have all kinds of fun just as Kit did competing in a fan and tissue race, making crafts, and eating yummy snacks as you enjoy tea with your favorite doll.
